KWSG ENGAGES ADVISORY SERVICE PROVIDERS ON THIRD DISBURSEMENT BY KWARA FADAMA CARES* * *SPC Tasks Service Providers on Diligence*

In preparation for the third phase of the disbursement by the Kwara Fadama CARES, the Kwara State Government has organised an orientation session for the Advisory Service Providers, who are to offer technical services to the beneficiaries of the Fadama CARES intervention.
It would be recalled that the Kwara Fadama CARES has, since the commencement of the project,  earlier had two phases of disbursement to indigent farmers in the State.
Addressing the Service Providers, the State Project Coordinator, Engr. Dr Busari Toyin Isiaka, tasked the Service Providers on diligence, saying they are to guide the beneficiaries on how to use the assets received.

He noted that the assignment of providing technical services should not be handled with levity, enjoining the Service Providers to be ready to work in any LGA they are posted to.
Busari then reminded the participants that the Fadama CARES intervention is to address hunger among the poor and vulnerable through the enhancement of food security in the State, cautioning them not to embark on any action that could soil the image of the state and defeat the Government's aim for executing the project.

Urging the Technical Advisers to make sure that they add value to the project through delivery of quality services, the Coordinator added that it would go a long way at accentuating the beauty of the project and align with the good intention of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's intervention in the lives of poor farmers in the State.
The highpoint of the training was a technical session involving a number of presentations on the
"Scope of Operations/Schedule of Payment",    "Extention Services Delivery" and
"Procurement Procedures" by the Technical Officer (Assets), Hajia Ramat Abdulmalik;Technical Officer (Inputs), Engr. Abdulmalik Zubair; and Procurement Officer, Mal. Wahab Garba Abubakar, respectively. The training also availed the participants an interactive session.
