FADAMA NG-CARES: KWSG TRAINS FACILITATORS, PRESENTS LAPTOPS, PHONES TO ENHANCE PRODUCTIVITY...Use Gadgets, Training Properly - SPC


 

In preparation for the second phase of disbursement of the Kwara Fadama NG-CARES, the State Government has presented  Laptop Computers and Android Phones to the engaged 32 community facilitators  working for the platform in all the sixteen local government areas across the State, the Facilitators also received training to enhance their productivity as regards the project implementation.

Addressing the trainees, the State Project Coordinator, Kwara Fadama CARES, Engr. Dr. Busari Toyin Isiaka, instructed the Community Facilitators to carry out their responsibilities according to the guidelines of the project.
He advised them to use the gadgets judiciously and explained that the project team members will ensure that the implementation of  the project will be executed judiciously towards achieving the objectives of the project, adding that, that is the only way the mission of the project can materialise and the packages will be delivered to the poor and vulnerable in the State accordingly.

He disclosed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is grateful to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for releasing the gadgets to Fadama for use.
The Coordinator then cautioned the facilitators against discrimination and inadequate documentation of data, enjoining them to properly handle the office gadgets in their custody.
Dr. Busari  explained that it is the pattern of implementation that will determine the success of the intervention programme by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stating that the disbursement will add value to the record of the people-oriented projects embarked upon by His Excellency to transform the citizens' lives.
He further expressed gratitude to the Governor for his passion to deliver democratic dividends to all and sundry in the State, thanking all the stakeholders of the Kwara Fadama NG-CARES for their support and expertise, which, he said, has tremendously facilitated the progress achieved so far.
Highpoint of the occasion was a session of presentations on Overview on Fadama NG-CARES RA2 (2nd Phase), Geo-referencing of farm location, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and others.
